Community at Heart Lottery

We just wanted to remind you of the Community at Heart Lottery. If you know of any community, sport or school groups that could do with some financial support then please encourage them to sign up to our local lottery.

Please also encourage residents to play too, tickets cost £1 and when supporters buy a ticket they will be able to choose what Good Cause to support. 50% of ticket sales will go to the person’s nominated good cause and 10% will go into a community fund run by Broadland District Council to benefit local good causes. The remaining 40% will go towards the prize money.

It’s a win-win for players as they can support a local group they may benefit from and also be in with a chance of winning £25/£250 each week or even £25,000 each month plus additional voucher prizes. Over the past 18 months Broadland residents winnings have totalled £13,675.00!

Sign up and find out more information, including terms and conditions, HERE.

We will soon have some A5 promotional leaflets available. If you would like to request some, please get in touch.

Marriott’s Way 10K

Our annual and very popular 10 kilometre race from Aylsham to Reepham along Marriott’s Way returns this year on Sunday 9 October. Entries to this great race are now open and can be purchased HERE

The mostly off-road and generally quite flat terrain, make this a great choice for beginner and experienced runners alike. Businesses and organisations are also encouraged to get involved, by getting a team of four together and taking up the MW10k corporate challenge. Last year the corporate challenge trophy was won by Norfolk County Council.

Please share this information with any local running/community groups in your area or even local business that might be interested in taking part.

Tots2Teens

Tots2Teens is ready to start next week and will be delivering sessions for 5 – 16 year olds throughout the Summer Holidays. More information about how to book and what’s on is HERE.

Tots2Teens is a Big Norfolk Holiday Fun provider, meaning all Broadland residents whose children are in receipt of means tested free school meals can book onto sessions for free! All children booking on this summer will also receive a lunch, whether they’re paying for the session or not.

There are still places available on our sessions, so please encourage residents to book if they’re struggling for things to do this summer!

This year, Tots2Teens celebrates its 30th birthday! To celebrate, we’ve created a summer family challenge. All children and young people who complete the 30 things challenge by the deadline will receive a goody pack containing activities to try and discounts for local attractions and clubs, as well as a badge and money off voucher for our Tots2Teens activities running in October half term.
